1、Nowadays, E-books have been becoming increasingly popular all over the world, especially among youngsters and it promises to be further imbedded into our daily life. Because of the wide popularity of e-books, the question weather e-books will replace traditional books or not have caused great controversy. A large proportion of people suppose that e-books will replace traditional books. The reasons why they think so are as follows. Firstly, contrasted with traditional books, e-books cost much less. Secondly, it’s extremely easy for them to get e-books via Internet without any restriction. What’s more, they can read an e-book whenever or wherever they tend. Lastly, the Internet offer information search services, which enable them to more easily choose any books they want.As to me, I don’t think that e-books will replace traditional books. First of all, e-books do great harm to our eye when we read an e-book for a long time. In addition, they also have less reserve value than traditional books. Last but not least, traditional books include much ancient and advanced culture which offers a sense of satisfaction that e-books cannot do. To sum up, e-books and traditional books have their own advantages and disadvantages. Accordingly, I firmly hold the opinion that traditional books will not be displaced by e-book.。
